New single-family homes starting in the $400,000s for sale in north Phoenix

PHOENIX — Aspiring homeowners can now apply to buy one of 35 homes at a new Phoenix housing community, the brokers behind the project announced Friday.

The community near 12th Street and Bell Road, which is called Encanto at Bell Park, has floorplans that range from 1,323 to 1,912 square feet.

Prices for the homes start in the $400,000s. The residences come in a variety of colors, including yellow and light blue.

The infill community is the result of a partnership between developers Encanto Living — which has built over 150 homes across the Valley since 2015 — and Tidestone Partners.

Keith Mishkin, the president and CEO of broker Cambridge Properties, said he’s looking forward to pairing potential buyers with these new homes.

“We are excited to partner once again with Encanto Living to provide new and existing [Arizona] residents the opportunity to buy attainable new single-family homes in the metro-Phoenix area,” Mishkin said in a Friday news release.

Those who buy homes in the community can secure a 4.99% interest rate on a 30-year fixed loan.

This is notable because many local housing experts have noted the role interest rates play in the Valley’s ongoing affordable housing shortage.
