353-unit multifamily development coming to Mesa master-planned community

PHOENIX — Construction has begun on 353 multifamily apartment units located within Medina Station, a 60-acre master-planned community in Mesa.

The units will be located near Signal Butte Road and Southern Avenue. They will be situated alongside what will eventually be 300,000 square feet of retail space, including a Target and Dick’s Sporting Goods, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

The living spaces will occupy a four-story building that will sit on about 10 acres of land.

Future residents can expect a clubhouse that is equipped with multiple coffee stations, a business and fitness center, lounge and outdoor pool and jacuzzi. The pool area will also feature cabanas and multiple grills.

Other outdoor amenities will include a putting green to satisfy any golfing itch, a dog park and courtyards with seating and fire pits.

The multifamily community is expected to be completed in 2028.

The project was financed by Origin Investments and is being developed by The NRP Group.
