Firm linked to data centers signs 1.1 million square-foot West Valley lease

An artificial intelligence firm that is backing a slew of data centers being built across the country signed on to lease over a million square feet at an industrial park next to Luke Air Force Base in Glendale.

A financing statement filed in Maricopa County on June 5 names the tenant as New York-based Fluidstack.

Brokers involved in the deal said they could not name the tenant due to a nondisclosure agreement. They were able to share that the user is not a data center operator, but an ancillary service and equipment provider for data center developers and operators.

According to Fluidstack’s website, the firm is partnering with Anthropic on its $50-billion data center buildout of multiple campuses across several states.
