President Donald Trump endorses former Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb for US Congress

PHOENIX — President Donald Trump announced his endorsement for Mark Lamb, the former Sheriff of Pinal County, who is running for Arizona’s 5th Congressional District.

Lamb is running for the seat vacated by Rep. Andy Biggs and will have competition from former Arizona Cardinals kicker Jay Feely, who announced the launch of his campaign in April.

Trump addressed the competition between the two MAGA supporters, saying that he thinks Feely should either run for a different district or different office.

It is my Great Honor to endorse MAGA Warrior Mark Lamb, who is running to represent the Great People of Arizona’s 5th Congressional District.

As the former Sheriff of Pinal County, Mark strongly supports our incredible Law Enforcement, Military, and Veterans, and knows the Wisdom and Courage it takes to Ensure LAW AND ORDER. Lamb thanked the president with a post on X, saying he was honored and humbled.

Who is Mark Lamb?

He announced his decision to run in CD5 during an appearance on The Charlie Kirk Show on Oct. 22, saying that the assassination of Kirk was a factor in his decision to run.

Lamb finished second behind Kari Lake in the Arizona Republican Primary for Governor in 2024. He received 292,888 votes in the loss.
