The owners of the Arizona Biltmore resort have purchased the Wrigley Mansion and will operate both luxury hospitality venues together.
Henderson Park, a joint venture that includes Western & Southern Financial Group and funds managed by Hamilton Lane (Nasdaq: HLNE), South Street Partners and Pyramid Global Hospitality, on Oct. 1 acquired the nearly 100-year-old historic property next to the Arizona Biltmore, near 24th Street in Phoenix just south of Piestewa Peak.
The sale price was $17 million, according to Maricopa County real estate records.
The group acquired the site from Jamie Hormel and the Hormel family, which has owned the Wrigley Mansion since 1992 when Geordie Hormel, Jamie’s late husband and an heir of Minnesota-based Hormel Foods Corp., purchased the property to stop it from being demolished.
