We don't know how or why this person fell or what they were doing at the time, but what ticks me off are the morons who go hiking when it's hot as heck, which at this time of year is just about 24 hours a day. I'm guessing it's mostly tourists who hike when they shouldn't but there have been locals too. I think ALL hotels & motels & even give them out at the airport would be a list of do's & don'ts when you are here & what will happen if you decide to do something on the list you really shouldn't do & then have to be rescued. They should charge the person the cost of the rescue, manpower, equipment, etc. That MIGHT change some peoples thinking.
