Woman dies after rollover crash near downtown Phoenix
Preliminary findings indicate the woman may have suffered a medical event that contributed to the crash.

A 51-year-old woman died early Saturday morning after a single-vehicle rollover crash near downtown Phoenix, authorities said.
Phoenix Police responded to multiple reports of a collision around 4:30 a.m. in the area of 7th Avenue and Portland Street.
Officers arrived to find a vehicle that had rolled over and crashed into a brick wall. Both occupants were taken by Phoenix Fire personnel to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The front-seat passenger, identified as Kelly Greene, was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital.
Detectives with the Phoenix Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Unit responded to take over the investigation. Preliminary findings indicate the driver may have suffered a medical event that contributed to the crash, according to police.
Authorities stated that impairment is not believed to be a factor.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
