PHOENIX — A Walmart in a Phoenix suburb was evacuated on Sunday after a bomb threat was called into the location.

The Peoria Police Department said in a tweet that the threat was called into the Walmart on Lake Pleasant Parkway and Deer Valley Road.

The store was later checked and was “determined to be safe,” police said.
