Valley CVS Health locations adding 300 pharmacy technician positions
The hiring comes as CVS Health anticipates an increased demand for flu vaccines and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
PHOENIX – CVS Health will be hiring 300 licensed pharmacy technicians at locations across the Valley.
The hiring comes as the company anticipates an increased demand for flu vaccines and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“This expansion by CVS Health is an important addition to the state’s health care community and will further strengthen efforts to keep Arizonans safe and healthy,” Governor Doug Ducey said in a press release Thursday.
The full-time and part-time seasonal jobs will be available in the coming months.
Even though the positions are seasonal, some technicians will have the opportunity to apply or be promoted to full-time roles in the company.
Applicants must at least have a technician in training license, which is valid for up to three years and is required to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam to continue being a technician.
Those who are interested can apply on the company’s website.
