PHOENIX — An Arizona man was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Thursday for child pornography charges, authorities said.
Robert Henderson, Jr., 59, of Tucson, previously pleaded guilty to distribution of child pornography, the United States Attorney’s Office, District of Arizona, said in a press release.
Authorities filed charges against Henderson after they discovered in a June 2019 investigation he was using a file-sharing network to get child sex abuse material in 2018.
When Henderson is released he’ll be required to register as a sex offender and will be placed on lifetime supervised release, authorities said in the release.
He’ll also have to complete a sex offender treatment program.
Homeland Security Investigations, Tucson, oversaw the investigation in the case, and the District of Arizona, Tucson, handled the prosecution.
