Arizona lottery player wins $320,000 Triple Twist jackpot from ticket bought at gas station

PHOENIX — Gas stations aren’t usually associated with treasures, but one lucky Arizona lottery player struck gold after buying a winning ticket worth a $320,000 jackpot Tuesday night.

The winning ticket for the Triple Twist jackpot was sold at a Chevron Self Serve at 2092 E. 24th St. in Yuma.

The winning numbers were 8, 10, 15, 17, 37 and 40.

The odds of winning the top prize in Triple Twist, a nightly Arizona Lottery draw game, are 1 in about 5.2 million.

Now that the jackpot has been won, the jackpot reset back to $210,000. That’s the max amount a Triple Twist player can win in Wednesday night’s drawing.

All winners of Arizona Lottery games have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

Last month, a player bought a a Triple Twist winning ticket worth $1,673,418 at a Circle K in Scottsdale.

This is the second time a lottery player in Yuma recently struck gold. Over the weekend, another player bought a winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000.
