Worker dies after getting trapped under equipment in Mesa

PHOENIX – A man died early Tuesday after getting trapped under a piece of equipment while working in southeast Mesa, authorities said.

The incident at the CRM Rubber facility near Meridian and Pecos roads appears to have been an accident, according to the Mesa Fire and Medical Department.

The victim was identified as 64-year-old Daryl Reinertson.

CRM produces crumb rubber for asphalt pavement, synthetic turf infill and other uses.
