Suspect arrested in shooting outside Casey Moore’s in Tempe

PHOENIX — A suspect was arrested Tuesday afternoon in connection with a Tempe shooting outside Casey Moore’s Oyster House on Saturday, authorities said.

Dakota Barnes, 29, was taken into custody and accused of aggravated assault and unlawful discharge.

Just before 3 p.m., police responded to reported gunshots near Ash Avenue and Ninth Street. After arriving, officers found a man in his 30s who was shot in the stomach. The unidentified man was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

Authorities reiterated on Tuesday he remains in stable condition at the hospital.
