PHOENIX – Police in Tempe have released the sketch of a driver suspected of running over three people, including a toddler, crossing a street in daylight, and driving away.

The hit-and-run on April 14 sent two adults and a 3-year-old boy to the hospital. They were admitted in stable condition.

A speeding white sedan heading west on Del Rio Drive struck the three in a neighborhood around 2:45 p.m., and kept going to turn north on to Mill Avenue.

The adults told officers the driver was a clean-cut man in his 20s who had short, dark hair. He was driving a four-door car that could have damage to the front bumper, hood and windshield.
