Suspect sought in the killing of a 27-year-old man in north Phoenix

PHOENIX — Phoenix police are looking for a suspect after a man was killed early Saturday morning near Interstate 17 and Northern Avenue.

Authorities say a 27-year-old man was shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex near 23rd and Northern Avenues.

The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is on-going and there were no further details.
