Suspect arrested after man fatally shot at Phoenix gas station

A man allegedly involved in the fatal shooting of a man at a Phoenix gas station was arrested Saturday.

PHOENIX — A man allegedly involved in a fatal shooting at a Phoenix gas station was arrested Saturday, authorities said.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at the service area near Cave Creek and Bell roads around 1:30 p.m., the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.

When they arrived they found 57-year-old Joseph Patruno suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he died.

Eduardo Quintero, 29, matched the description of the shooter involved and was arrested, police said.

Quintero was booked into Fourth Avenue Jail on homicide and weapons charges.
