PHOENIX – A student was hospitalized Friday morning after getting hit by a vehicle near a Scottsdale high school, authorities said.
The Scottsdale Fire Department said the female patient was in stable condition.
The Scottsdale Police Department told ABC15 that the vehicle-pedestrian collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. outside Coronado High School, which is located at 7501 E. Virginia Ave., near Scottsdale and Thomas roads.
No other information was immediately available.

The place where drivers should be on their best behavior is no longer safe for walkers. Ban cars from school zones. Make the schools safe to walk to again.
