Stray kitten rescued from dryer vent at home in Goodyear

A homeowner in Goodyear heard meows coming from inside their home, which led to the rescue of a stray kitten by firefighters.

Crews responded to the residence to investigate the unmistakable noise.

Upon further investigation, firefighters discovered a stray kitten had entered through an outside vent and become stuck behind a dryer.

Crews were able to move the appliance and safely pull the tiny feline from the vent, rescuing it.

The kitten and contact information for local cat rescues were left with homeowner.

“Sometimes the smallest calls make the biggest impact,” the Goodyear Fire Department said in a social media post about the rescue.
