Original Star Wars trilogy to play on Arizona Science Center dome theatre in 8K

PHOENIX — The Force will be strong at Arizona Science Center this May, where the Dorrance DOME theatre will play the original “Star Wars” trilogy on its 60-foot LED display in 8K resolution.

Between May 1 and May 4, the Dorrance theatre will play each entry of the original sci-fi trilogy twice, with an all-day marathon on May 4.

The Star Wars Schedule

• Episode IV, A New Hope plays May 1 at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
• Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back plays May 3 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

To celebrate “May the Fourth Be With You,” the DOME theatre is hosting a Star Wars marathon on May 4.

• Episode VI, Return of the Jedi plays at 11:30 a.m.
• Episode IV, A New Hope plays  at 2:30 p.m.
• Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back plays at 5:30 p.m.
• Episode IV, The Return of the Jedi plays at 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $30 for the public and $25 for members. Ticketing information is available on the Arizona Science Center’s website.
