Construction begins on new Sprouts Farmers Market headquarters in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Construction began Monday on a new Sprouts Farmers Market headquarters campus in Phoenix, according to a news release.

The new Sprouts headquarters campus will be located within the CityNorth development near 56th Street and the Loop 101.

Wespac Construction broke ground on the campus, while the Trammell Crow Company was the developer of the project.

“This project represents a major investment in the future of north Phoenix,” Wespac vice president Kirk Jonovich said in the news release.

“We’re proud to partner with Sprouts and Trammell Crow Company to build a headquarters that not only supports Sprouts’ continued growth, but also brings high-quality jobs, community-focused retail and thoughtful design to one of the Valley’s fastest-growing corridors. The new campus will be a cornerstone for innovation, wellness and economic development in this region for years to come.”

Construction begins after Sprouts closed a deal in April to build a new headquarters campus in Phoenix.

What features will be at the new Sprouts headquarters campus?

The new headquarters campus will be more than 180,000 square feet and span seven acres. The campus will feature a four-story, 144,500-square-foot Sprouts corporate office building.

The campus will also feature a 25,000-square-foot Sprouts grocery store, 11,000 square-feet for restaurant and retail space and a three-story parking garage.

Future plans for the campus include a gym, yoga studio, cafe, tasting rooms and more, according to the release.
