Sloan Park in Mesa to host beer and bourbon festival in November

If you missed out on Oktoberfest this year, you're in luck, as an on-tap beer and bourbon festival will be held in Mesa at Sloan Park on Nov. 2.

PHOENIX — If you miss out on Oktoberfest this year, you’ll still have a chance to celebrate adult beverages.

On Nov. 2, the On Tap Beer and Beverage Festival will be held in Mesa at Sloan Park, the Chicago Cubs’ spring training stadium.

Over 30 breweries and distilleries will be providing the refreshments, including 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Beam Suntory, Beer Research Institute, Dark Sky Brewing Company, Estrella Jalisco, Four Peaks Brewing Company, Goose Island and Oro Brewing Company.

Every ticket holder will be provided an festival glass that can be used at the various sampling stations.

Live music and traditional ballpark food will also be available, with the festivities set to begin at 2-6 p.m.

Tickets start at $40 and include the glass and 12 drink tickets.

VIP tickets are also available for $80 and include food and exclusive space near the dugout in addition to the aforementioned amenities.

Part of the proceeds will benefit Mesa charities and youth organizations.
