Glendale woman indicted for allegedly providing Botox, semaglutide without license

A Maricopa County grand jury has indicted a Glendale woman accused of performing unlicensed injections and illegally selling prescription-only drugs in the Phoenix area, authorities said.

Sayde Shea Holladay was indicted May 11 on charges of fraudulent schemes and artifices, unlawful practice of medicine and sale or transfer of prescription-only drugs, according to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.

Holladay allegedly operated her business, SlimSlays, fraudulently from Jan. 1 through April 28.

She is accused of practicing medicine without a license and knowingly selling or transferring semaglutide and Botox without authorization.

Prosecutors also allege Holladay failed to disclose that she was not a licensed medical provider, that her business had no licensed provider authorized to prescribe prescription-only drugs and that the company lacked a state-licensed medical director required to provide clinical oversight.

According to ABC15, police arrested Holladay at a Phoenix office near the site of the former Metrocenter Mall after an undercover officer paid for Botox and watched Holladay prepare for the injection.

Her next court date will be a pretrial conference on June 30.
