Silver Alert canceled after missing Phoenix man found in good health

PHOENIX – Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Friday morning after a Phoenix man who went missing two days earlier was found safe.

Richard Ryan, 64, was found in good health by patrol officers and reunited with his family, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The Silver Alert for Ryan was issued Thursday afternoon. At the time, he hadn’t been since around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday near 11th Street and McDowell Road. He was wearing black cargo pants, a light gray shirt, blue slip-on shoes and an Army Ranger hat.

Ryan is described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 173 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

He has a medical condition that requires medication on a regular basis.
