Phoenix Silver Alert canceled after missing 28-year-old man located

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Wednesday after a man who went missing in Phoenix over week ago was located, authorities said.

Anzuruni Saidi, 28, was located at a local hospital, where he was being reunited with his family, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Police didn’t say why he’d been hospitalized.

The Silver Alert for Saidi, who only speaks Swahili, was issued on June 17. He’d last been seen the previous day on foot in the area of 25th Drive and Glendale Avenue.

He was described as 5 feet, 1 inch tall and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
