Silver Alert canceled after 94-year-old woman who went missing in Phoenix found

PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert after a missing Phoenix woman was found on Wednesday.

The Phoenix Police Department said the alert was canceled after 94-year-old Marjorie Ruth Dinsmore was found and taken to a local hospital for further care.

What else do we know about 94-year-old Phoenix woman found after Silver Alert was issued?

She had been reported missing after she was last been seen on foot in a neighborhood near 30th Drive and Montecito Avenue, north of Indian School Road, around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday.

She was wearing jeans and a shirt with green and blue stripes at the time. Dinsmore is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and 115 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The initial Silver Alert, issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety, said Dinsmore has a medical condition that can cause her to become confused and easily lost.
