Silver Alert canceled for missing 74-year-old man last seen in Phoenix

Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Saturday after a missing 74-year-old Phoenix man was found safe.

PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Saturday after a missing Phoenix man was found safe.

Richard Ochoa, 74, was located at a gas station, according to the Phoenix Police Department. He was taken to a hospital to be checked out and was later discharged.

The Silver Alert was issued on Feb. 17. At the time, Ochoa had last been seen in the area of 92nd Avenue and Camelback Road.

Ochoa has a medical condition that can cause him to appear lost, confused or disoriented, according to the alert.
