Silver Alert canceled after police find 65-year-old last seen in Phoenix

A Silver Alert issued last week for a missing 65-year-old man last seen in Phoenix was canceled on Monday.

PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert from last week after a missing 65-year-old man last seen in Phoenix was found safe.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety canceled the alert on Monday after asking the public to help find Michael Leinbach, who had last been seen in the area of Seventh Street and McDowell Road on Tuesday.

He was found at a nearby hospital in good health, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 145 pounds. He has blue eyes and was wearing a gray shirt when he went missing.

DPS said Leinbach has a medical condition that can make him easily lost or confused.
