Silver Alert canceled for man known to take bus out of state

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Friday after a Phoenix man on medication, who has disappeared before, was found by his daughter.

Lennox Blackman, 79, was last seen Thursday evening near his house around 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. He was wearing a striped shirt, black shorts, brown sandals and a white baseball cap.

His family said he sometimes is confused and disoriented.

In the past, Blackman, who is on medication for physical and behavioral conditions, has taken the bus back to the Los Angeles area, where he’s from. The last time he disappeared, in December, he made his way back to California.
