Silver Alert canceled after missing Chandler woman located, reunited with family

PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert for a missing Chandler woman early Wednesday after she was found safe.

The alert for 88-year-old Joyce Russell was issued Tuesday night. At the time, she was last seen that morning near Alma School and Chandler Heights roads.

Around 1 a.m. Wednesday, the Chandler Police Department announced that Russell had been located in good health and reunited with her family.
