Silver Alert canceled for 78-year-old woman with dementia last seen in Mesa

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert has been canceled for a 78-year-old woman with dementia on Sunday who was last seen in Mesa, authorities said.

Authorities said Sadia Patterson was located by the Chandler Police Department and is now safe. She was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

When the alert was first issued, Patterson was last seen on Saturday around 7 p.m. near a Chili’s restaurant located at 1637 S. Stapley Drive.

The Mesa Police Department said Patterson is about 5-foot-2 and 124 pounds and she has black hair and brown eyes. She was reportedly last seen wearing a black and white checkered shirt and carrying a baby doll.
