Silver Alert canceled for missing elderly woman in Phoenix

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Saturday morning for a missing Phoenix woman.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, Donna Bitterman, 85, was found safe.

Bitterman had left her residence overnight in the area of North 14th Street and East Bell Road.

Bitterman’s family discovered she was missing at around 4 a.m. on Saturday.

She recently experienced a medical event, making her ability to navigate extremely diminished.
