Silver Alert canceled for missing 67-year-old man last seen leaving care facility in Phoenix

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Friday after a 67-year-old man last seen Oct. 1 near 16th Street and Camelback Road in Phoenix was found safe, according to authorities.

Miguel Torres-Ramirez walked into a local hospital earlier in the day and is being evaluated as a precaution. Torres-Ramirez appeared to be in good health, police said.

He stands 5-foot-7 and weighs 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Torres-Ramirez was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue/green plaid sweat pants and carrying a black backpack.

He left the care facility he lives in around 5:30 p.m. with no money or cell phone and suffers from a condition that makes him easily confused.
