Silver Alert canceled for Arizona woman with memory problems

A Silver Alert was canceled Monday for a woman who was last seen walking away from a casino near Phoenix the day before. Masuko Weaver, 76, was found safe.

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Monday for a woman who was last seen walking away from a casino near Phoenix the day before.

Authorities said Masuko Weaver, 76, was alone as she walked from Gila River Vee Quiva Casino near 43rd Avenue and Ray Road around noon Sunday. She was found safe before 10 a.m. the next day.

Weaver was headed north toward the desert. She suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and other medical conditions and has a developmental disability.

She was wearing a red Arizona Wildcats sweater and gray pants.

Weaver is 5 feet tall, weighs 115 pounds and has brown eyes and gray hair.
