Silver Alert canceled for 79-year-old Phoenix man

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Monday for a 79-year-old Phoenix man after the Arizona Department of Public Safety said he was found.

Robert Diggs was last seen traveling south on Scottsdale Road near Mayo Boulevard on July 30, authorities said.

Diggs was driving his white 2006 Honda Accord with Arizona license plate 355DET.

Police said Diggs could have been disoriented and unable to find his way home.

Diggs was described as a 5-foot-10, 160-pound black male with gray hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a light blue striped shirt, blue jacket, blue jeans and gray shoes with a tan baseball cap.
