Silver Alert canceled after 86-year-old Phoenix man is found safe

PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Friday night after a missing 86-year-old Phoenix man was located and returned home, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Robert Beverlin was last seen around noon on Friday near North 19th Avenue and West Union Hills Road.

He was wearing a plaid shirt with brown pants.

Beverlin is 5-foot-9, 180 pounds and has brown hair with blue eyes.

He drives a white 2006 Chevrolet HHR with an Arizona license plate number of BWB4805 and has a green frog toy on the dashboard.

Beverlin may be confused and is known to get lost easily.

Anybody with information about his whereabouts was asked to call the Phoenix Police Department at (602) 534-2121.
