Silver Alert canceled after 68-year-old man last seen in Phoenix found safe

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Monday after a 68-year-old man last seen near Weldon and 18th avenues in Phoenix was found safely.

Ruben Gonzalez had last been seen wearing an Army green hat, light brown shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes on Friday night.

He stands 5-foot-6 and weighs 150 pounds with black and gray hair and brown eyes.

Gonzales suffers from a medical condition that may cause him to become easily lost or become confused.
