Silver Alert canceled after 80-year-old woman who was missing in Mesa reunited with family

PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Thursday issued for an 80-year-old missing woman in Mesa after she was reunited with her family.

Muriel Standridge was reported missing around 6 p.m. Thursday after she was last seen around 3:15 p.m. near the Stapley Road and Southern Avenue intersection. She was in a 1999 tan Ford F-250 truck with an Arizona license plate reading 476DEE.

She is 5-foot-3 and weighs 121 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a light blue shirt and jeans when last seen.

Authorities said she has a condition that can leave her disoriented or confused.
