Tax time is right around the corner, and there’s no better time to start thinking about protecting your identity and getting rid of old documents then now.
The Document Destroyer event at the University of Phoenix Stadium on April 16 will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix. Document shredding company Iron Mountain will get rid of any unwanted papers, old bills and sensitive information for a minimum donation of $5 for up to 10 boxes. Additional boxes are $3 a box.
All proceeds will go to the 30,000 Valley youth involved with the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix.
The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
