Shooting at house party in Tempe leaves 2 people seriously injured, another hurt

Two people were critically injured, and a third suffered minor injuries following a shooting at a house party in Tempe early Saturday morning, authorities said.

According to the Tempe Police Department, officers responded to a call around 4:30 a.m. about a loud party near Rural Road and Southern Avenue.

Police said the shooting occurred while officers were en route.

Upon arrival, three people were found with gunshot wounds. All three were taken to a hospital, with two of the victims critically injured and the other with minor injuries. All three are in stable condition, according to police.

Police said the scene remained active and that a suspect was still at large.
