Scottsdale mansion sells for $24.1M, shatters Arizona price record

PHOENIX – The Arizona home market has a new champion.

A 17-acre estate in Scottsdale’s exclusive Silverleaf community shattered the two-year-old state record by more than $5 million, fetching $24.1 million on Oct. 1.

The new record holder was listed in May 2019 with a mind-blowing asking price of $32 million.

The 15,534-square-foot mansion built in 2005 has eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and a 10-car garage.

The spread has its own private entry gate in the gated, guarded community and boasts a scenic backdrop of the McDowell Mountains and Windgate Pass.

The property has flowerbeds, water features and green spaces blended with desert landscaping, along with a pool and an indoor basketball court.

The purchaser is listed in Maricopa County property records as Blue Croc LLC.

The state’s previous most lucrative home sale was a 16,600-square-foot Silverleaf estate that went for $18.8 million in March 2018.

That capped a flurry high-priced closings that set state records three times in a span of three months.

The splurging started when a 14,200-square-foot Paradise Valley residence sold for $15.65 million in December 2017.

Then in February 2018, a big spender plunked down $17.5 million for an 18,000-square-foot Silverleaf home.

We want to hear from you.
