Just like last year, Glendale’s got the big game, but the rest of the Valley is getting in on the big party.

The City of Scottsdale is looking to pitch in $251,000 for  the promotion and organization of the the 2016 College Football Championship at University of Phoenix Stadium.

The city is saying most of the funds will come from hotel bed taxes, according to a report in Phoenix Business Journal.

While many of the pregame events will take place in Phoenix, most in town for the game will rest up in the East Valley. The teams and media are already booked to stay in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale, and fans are expected to follow.

The previous college football championship games in 2007 and 2011 were some of the best nights ever for hotels and resorts, Steve Geiogamah, Scottsdale’s acting tourism and events director told Phoenix Business Journal.
