SAFE Alert issued for missing Phoenix woman who uses electric scooter

Authorities issued a SAFE Alert on Monday morning for a missing Phoenix woman who uses a black electric scooter.

Karen King, 71, was last seen Sunday in the area of 18th and Campbell avenues, between Camelback and Indian School roads.

King is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 160 pounds, with brown eyes and short gray hair.

She is known to frequent a nearby Circle K.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Phoenix Police Department Missing Persons Unit at 602-534-3052 or the main nonemergency line at 602-262-6151 after hours.
