SAFE Alert for missing 77-year-old woman last seen driving in Phoenix

Authorities issued a SAFE alert for a missing 77-year-old woman who went missing in Phoenix.

Jill Heard was last seen driving a white 2017 Toyota Camry on Loop 101 around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Phoenix Police Department. The license plate is BZP5676.

She is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 147 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes, police said.

Heard has a medical condition that can cause confusion, and police said they are concerned for her safety.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call 911.

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
