SAFE Alert for 41-year-old man canceled after he was reunited with family

A SAFE Alert was canceled on Sunday for a 41-year-old man after he was found and reunited with his family in Surprise, authorities said.

PHOENIX — A SAFE Alert was canceled on Sunday for a 41-year-old man in Surprise, authorities said.

Abel Perez was last seen on foot earlier Saturday near the neighborhood of Prasada, which is close to Waddell and the Loop 303.

He was found and reunited with his family on Sunday, according to the Surprise Police Department.

 

 

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older or who suffer from dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
