Authorities canceled a SAFE alert Wednesday after a missing 77-year-old woman was found safe.

The Phoenix Police Department said Jill Heard contacted her family and was in good health.

When the alert was first issued, Heard had been last seen driving a white 2017 Toyota Camry on Loop 101 Pima Freeway around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

She is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 147 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes, police said.
