Peoria police are asking for help finding an 85-year-old man who was last seen driving in Glendale on Wednesday afternoon.

A SAFE Alert has been issued for Zbiegniew “Jerry” Bielicki, who has a medical condition that may cause him to become lost or easily confused.

Bielicki was last seen around 4 p.m. Wednesday near Union Hills Drive and Loop 101. He was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer with Arizona license plate 236STN.

Peoria police described him as a white man who is 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a T-shirt and shorts but the clothing colors are unknown.

Anyone who has seen Bielicki is asked to call the Peoria Police Department at 623-773-8311 or 911.

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
