Report: Tempe Culinary Dropout is Sam Fox’s most expensive project

PHOENIX — Sam Fox is all the rage in the Phoenix area and is reportedly unafraid to drop the big bucks.

The Phoenix Business Journal reported Fox’s newest endeavor, a new The Yard location in Tempe, is his most expensive to date.

The $11 million project at the revamped Farmer Arts District in Tempe will include the creation of another Culinary Dropout restaurant and space for other tenants. A yoga studio has already opened on the property and Over Easy, a breakfast restaurant, is expected to be open before the new year.

Culinary Dropout will open Dec. 9 at the southeast corner of Farmer Avenue and First Street in Tempe. The restaurant already has two locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
