PHOENIX — A 44-year-old Tonopah man and registered sex offender was arrested during an investigation into explicit messages sent to a young girl. The investigation also uncovered additional child exploitation material, the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office said.
Andy Racer was booked on charges of aggravated luring of a minor, attempted sexual conduct with a minor and 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Detectives allege Racer had sent explicit text messages and images to the minor over several weeks. Investigators also found child sexual abuse images in his possession, authorities said.
Racer was previously convicted of indecent exposure, public sexual indecency to a minor and attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.
