Music promoter Danny Zelisko lists 2,100 items from his Phoenix archive for charity

Danny Zelisko has spent more than 50 years promoting concerts across Arizona, working with acts from Alice Cooper to Prince.

Now he’s selling off the souvenirs.

Zelisko this week launched Danny Zelisko’s Closet, an eBay store offering more than 2,100 items from his personal archive: signed photographs, vintage concert T-shirts, posters, backstage passes and ticket stubs spanning five decades of live music.

Prices range from $50 for an R.E.M. backstage pass to $3,750 for a James Dean collection that includes a guitar, autographed photo, album and stamps. Other high-end listings include a Jonas Brothers package with a signed guitar and poster from 2008 at $2,275, a Sade concert T-shirt from 1993 at $2,000 and a signed poster from The Who at $700.

“This isn’t just memorabilia — it’s a lifetime of memories,” Zelisko said in a statement. “Every poster, backstage pass, ticket and photograph has a story behind it.”

Zelisko founded Evening Star Productions, which started booking acts in Phoenix and moved his way up to New Mexico and Las Vegas. The company promoted marquee concerts like Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney or Billy Joel.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Joy Bus, a Phoenix nonprofit that delivers chef-prepared meals to cancer patients.
