Valley nonprofit offering free prom dresses to high school seniors and juniors
Valley high school juniors and seniors can receive free prom dresses thanks to the Cinderella Affair and the East Valley Women's League.

PHOENIX — Valley high school juniors and seniors can receive free prom dresses thanks to the Cinderella Affair and the East Valley Women’s League (EVWL).
All students need to be eligible for the event is a valid school ID. It will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 1 and March 29 at Dixxon Flannels (7200 S. Priest Drive) in Tempe.
The Cinderella Affair has been hosted by the EVWL for the past 24 years.
The all-volunteer event aims to provide formal wear to anyone struggling to afford the high cost of prom dresses.
Thousands of free prom dresses available
The Cinderella Affair is the nation’s largest free giveaway with more than 6,000 prom dresses in all colors, fabrics, sizes, and designs available.
High school seniors and juniors participating in the Cinderella Affair will be given a numbered ticket upon their arrival.
Once their number is called, participants will be escorted by an on-site volunteer to a dressing room to choose five dresses to try on.

SUITS (Setting Up Incredible Teens for Success): This program assists young men by providing complete suits for various occasions, including prom.
The Prom Closet: Operated by the Peoria North Rotary Club, The Prom Closet offers new and gently used formal wear to all high school students at no cost. Their collection includes suits, tuxedos, dresses, shoes, and accessories.
Operation Prom National Network: This national nonprofit organization assists low-income students by providing free prom dresses and tuxedos. While based in New York, they have locations across the U.S., including Arizona.
Additionally, Rose Tuxedo, a local tuxedo rental business, has a history of donating rental tuxedos for various events, including prom fashion shows and nonprofit giveaways. They have three locations in Phoenix and surrounding areas.
